Welcome to the Post-Conference Issue of your PWABC Roadrunner. I am sure you will all agree that John Locher and his multi – disciplined Local Arrangements Committee prepared an excellent Conference for us and displayed a hospitality that is unique to the North. I don’t know about you but I think some of that “energy” in the Energetic City comes from the wind. We have captured some of the Conference inside, through the capable photography of Keith Fenton. The Pre-Conference Workshop related to Extraordinary Customer Service was again well attended. The quality of presentation has been maintained at a high level and is an ongoing challenge for Penticton in 2003.
Planning is well underway for the 2003 Conference in Penticton. We will be continuing our tradition of a joint conference with Washington State. To add to that challenge there is also an Equipment Show planned. So please use this as a reminder to book your time for September 15th to September 19th, 2003. Hope to see you there. The Executive appreciates your ongoing feedback about Conference location and format. Have a great Christmas Season and all the best for 2003. Remember it falls five weeks after the Municipal Elections.

Jim Duckworth, Editor BC Roadrunner.
